I am currently listening to the Sevas Tra album by Otep, a fairly new "creative metal" band. Wonderful, wonderful artists; all four of them. You can't help but applaud Otep Shamaya for her amazing vocals [added her ability to shout with the vocal range of a male - a nice characteristic considering the genre ] as well as her astonishing poetical talents [which are uniquely thrown into the mix as well]. What beautiful yet mournfully raw music. The current song is "Possession". Ah, and what an intro this song has! I just wish more people knew of this terrific band. They truly are a nice break from the slowly conforming and almost blasé artists of today.

"that must either be really inspiring music, or ur just a nerd who likes using SAT words" YOU be the judge. Oh, you seriously had me laughing there. Was in a writing mood, and when that happens, all must suffer. Eh-heh. Good day to you."Sic" by Slipknot.

Ah, but to get the full effect of the music, it is best to listen to the CD in its entirety. Yes, "Battle Ready" is an angry song, I'll agree. Many times that can be a good thing. But I would recommend such songs as "Blood Pigs", "Possession", "My Confession" "Menocide", and "Jonestown Tea" [if you can take the subject matter] - a few of my personal favorites. I know I cannot convince everyone, but I love their music and that's all that matters.
"Birthmark" by the Deftones.
