Has NEone noticed that a lot of child abductions have been happening lately. Man, I feel sorry for all the victims loved ones. Just hope and pray that they will be found safely and un-harmed.

Yes, I have noticed as well. It's a terrible thought to ponder. So many innocent children, taken away from those they love. Oh so tragic indeed. But the fact is that there are even more victims of these sorts of crimes; more than we could ever imagine. Thousand of youngsters have been kidnapped, taken away from their homes. It happens every day, yet we are oblivious to the majority of them. While we hear of the Smarts and the Ramseys, many never stop to think of the thousands of other little boys and girls [in the United States alone] that are never returned to their homes alive. Indeed, I believe each case and victim is as important as the next, but I truly hope that these victims are returned, regardless of their social status. But isn't it depressing that only the wealthy, well-to-do families are covered while those who are a bit less than “well-off” are seemingly forgotten? It seems the media has a nasty habit of “selectively” covering those who they find to be more “important.” Nonetheless, despite it all, I hope that these children are returned safely to their waiting families. I pray for both the victims and their loved ones – all x-thousand of them.

For me,I find it sick that the media only cares for the rich. It's a sick way for them to say 'Your not important to us-You have no money''.
Every child is important. Money shouldn't stnad in the way of something as important as this. Who knows, maybe they get paid or they they will get something out of it by helping the wealthy and making their business so important. *shrugs*
Also, is it just me or does it seem like there are more runaways than kidnappings??

I myself find children being taken away from there families disgusting it's sad and very unfair. Though I don't know much about it, it still seems very nasty.

there isnt more child abductions... the media just thinks thats "whats hot" so all their reports are about it... just like there was terrorism before 9-11 but then it became the "hot story" so all the reporters focused on that... and there was always school shootings, but for some reason after Columbine, thats when the media started to focus on it... its pretty much the media that controls our knowledge of the world... and they are all plagurists so all we hear is the same thing over and over again

Breaking News: Missing Girl Samantha Runnion's Body Found in CaliforniaHow terrible . The man that is said to have raped and murdered little Samantha Runnion was said to have committed such acts in the past and has been labeled as a wanted serial killer. I feel so very sorry for Samantha herself, her heartbroken loved ones, and the other victems that this horrible man has done away with through similar, hideous means. I dreadfully hope that this man is caught and punished for what he has done.

^^^^^^ But what's freaky is that the girl wasn't some 14 year old (ie Utah) she was only 5. That's a very sad thing. Why the hell are there so many sick people in this world?!
