That's really sad. But do you think it did it on 'accident'?? He had already lied about it ,then said it was an accident. *shrugs*
Actually,I think it's mainly the parents fault. If he's been in trouble lie that before why have a gun in the house, and etc.?? That just doesn't make any sense to me.

Well the whole story in short is, the gun was the boy's stepfathers, and it was locked up. The boy found the key and began playing with it while his mother was sleeping in her room. The boy was playing with the gun and it went of hitting the sister in the neck. He then hid the gun in his room and carried the girl down the road, I think he was gonna go to the park mentioned and dump her body and wait for cops to find her. But then a woman who was driving by had seen him so he ditched the plan and walked to the store where he used the phone. He knew if the lady said anything he'd be in trouble so he came up with the story that she got shot in the park on the way to the phone.
I know alot of the facts most people don't because my girlfriend's dad is a detective and has friends on this case, and he asked for alot of the details cause the house it happened was about about 3 down from his. So of coarse she told me what he found out, and the way it looks to me is how I explained it, I talked to my girlfriend's dad about it and he didn't think of it but said that does sound alot like what might of happened. But the boy isn't saying much, just that he did it, and not really the details, and actually thats all the cops care about and they ain't pushing the issue that much more with the boys young age and all.
I myself think they should push the issue cause if he was going to go dump the body and leave her then there are more charges that should be brought up then what they have now. I mean call me strict but he had no business playing with a gun, and a little girl of 3 who had no part in him getting the gun had to suffer the pain of his mistakes.

I agree..But I just think that the parents should have put it somewhere (or just taken it *out* of the house) so that the boy couldn't get to it/find it.
